Terms of use

These terms govern use of this website. They are separate from the terms of engagement that apply once you instruct Mr Scarci as an expert witness, which are set out on the fees and terms of engagement page and the full terms of engagement document.

Use of this website

This website is provided for the purpose of informing solicitors, medical defence organisations, insurers and other instructing parties about Mr Scarci’s medico-legal practice. It is not intended for members of the public seeking clinical advice or treatment; patients should visit marcoscarci.co.uk.

Nothing on this website constitutes legal or medical advice, and nothing on it forms an offer capable of acceptance. An expert witness relationship is formed only on the basis of a written letter of instruction and confirmed terms of engagement.

The content of this website, including text, layout and design, is owned by or licensed to Mr Scarci and may not be reproduced without permission, except for the purpose of evaluating him as a potential expert witness.

No warranty

This website is provided “as is”. While reasonable care is taken to keep it accurate and current, no warranty is given as to completeness or accuracy, and it should not be relied on as a substitute for direct instruction and discussion of a specific case.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, this website. This does not affect liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute relating to them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
